THEOSOPHY is a wisdom which includes all things, the essence of which is the unity that underlies them all. But this unity is not merely of pattern, but a unity which belongs to one all-pervading life. To understand its nature, this Wisdom has to be approached both objectively and subjectively. For, in one aspect it exhibits a certain plan; in another, it is the discovery of the spiritual meaning of the life expressed through that plan.

The plan includes many subsidiary patterns and designs, each with an individuality of its own. In the largest as well as the smallest, the astronomical universe or the atom, a tree, a plant, or anything else, there is a design adopted to the expression of life that flows through it, a design which is continually evolving.

                 The Intelligent Design

In October 2004, the Dover Area School Board (U.S) voted to add a mention of intelligent design to its ninth-grade biology curriculum.

What is intelligent design?: Intelligent design holds that life had to have been created by an intelligent force because it is too complex to have happened otherwise.

The reason: Board members who support the change say students should learn about alternative theories to evolution.56

The other side: Critics argue intelligent design is an attempt to get creationism and religion into the classroom. The matter has finally been taken to court.                        Read More...........
